t2 wk 8 23 june 2011 from debbie hi everyone this week we welcomed ekin a year 6 student into our school ekin can be found working with the awesome aces in room 5 connor joins us for maths technology really is amazing the children in gladi8tors have been talking to connor on skype this week yesterday he joined them for maths thanks to skype and mrs cullen s speedy emailing of the worksheets keep this date this year our cluster will be hosting another performing arts event which is to take place at the end of term 3 on friday 30th september we have once again booked the regent and want to make it a great night out for all our families as a cluster we have decided to celebrate with jump jam this time teachers have already started working on routines with the children we will be entering a senior group junior group and competitive group donation allied farmers we have recently received a very generous donation of $2576.00 from allied farmers their support of our school is very much appreciated this donation will give us the ability to extend our literacy resources and give the children the opportunity to be working with fresh and up to date material new junior playground we will soon be needing helpers to dismantle the old playground and prepare the area for the new play equipment the pta have done an outstanding job of raising money for this project and now we need your help for the last part of the job at this stage we are hoping that it may be able to be installed in the holidays the job requires us to take out the old equipment and scrape the bark off so it can be reused to help us set a date for the work to be done can each family please complete the form and return it to tania in the office name i can help during the week please circle times and days that you can be available mornings afternoons both am/pm m t w th f i can help on a weekend saturday am pm sunday am pm 31 ways to change the world kids please help your mums and dads to fill out the slip and get it back to mrs noble she has a special sweet treat for the first 20 slips in.
