ZAFCO organized 5K Walkathon for Educational Awareness Dubai, UAE – Taking forward the ritual of Corporate Social Responsibility, ZAFCO organized a 5K Walkathon at Creek Park, Dubai for its employees and their families. The core aim of the event was to create awareness and support the cause of Education in our society with the theme of “E² - Education for Everyone”. The event started-off at 9:00am with Pigeon-releasing, as a gesture of freedom and right of moving forward to achieve greater goals in lives. The charismatic view alongside the lake with cool breeze was perfect enough for a morning walkathon. It was good to see everyone wearing same, branded T-Shirts and walking in a group to support this noble cause. ZAFCO has been actively involved in CSR activities for causes like health, environment, and particularly education which have yielded numerous success stories over time. ZAFCO has been supporting Smile Foundation of India for the past three years, where underprivileged children get a chance to start their education despite trying circumstances. After yet another successful CSR event, ZAFCO is keeping its spirits high and would continue aiming big – by giving out the best to its customers, stakeholders, employees, and the overall community.

Founder’s Day – Blood Donation Campaign 2016 Our beloved Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Hussain, passed away on February 5, 2012. The commemoration of his fourth anniversary was observed with a moment of silence on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 9:00 am in the Muhammad Hussain Auditorium, Head Office, Jebel Ali. To pay tribute to our late Chairman, ZAFCO had its 6th Blood Donation Campaign in association with Dubai Health Authority on the same day. The mobile unit of Latifa hospital came to our office premises in Jebel Ali. This year they specifically requested for more blood donors to come forward and assist them with the shortage they are facing. The turnout was pretty sound this year as 56 members from ZAFCO and its neighboring companies came forward to donate blood, of which 34 were successful donors. Adding to the community in one way or the other is always on ZAFCO’s agenda, which makes it one of those top companies that lead the CSR role from the front.

The visitors simply had to register their names along with vehicle details and spin the wheel to win exciting prizes. The huge list of prizes included android tablet, gift hampers, free vehicle checkup, oil change, and buy 2 and get 2 Pirelli tires for free.
