We call it Jan Term; you’ll call it the amazing adventure of a lifetime. The only program of its kind in Georgia, our Interim Term during the month of January offers courses designed to encourage you to explore content outside of your major – and even outside the country. You might choose to study the Art and Beauty of Barcelona or The Ireland of Yeats and Joyce. Whatever your interest, we’ll take you there, with a wide variety of courses to choose from and $2,500 travel vouchers for new incoming freshmen to use in their junior or senior year. Jan Term travel is just one aspect of the college’s Global Engagement Initiative, an effort aimed at preparing all students to become citizens of the world through academic and service opportunities.

Known for its sports innovation, Under Armour® is the o cial supplier for all Panther teams. With a mission to “make all athletes better,” the company and the college partner together to promote performance at the highest level.
A ﬁerce Panther spirit inhabits the DNA of LaGrange College students, whether they’re watching or participating. A member of the NCAA Division III and the USA South Athletic Conference, LaGrange offers 16 intercollegiate teams, from football to lacrosse. Our athletic facilities, including an outstanding baseball stadium, natatorium, two-ﬁeld softball complex and 4,000-square-foot weight training room, are among the best in the region. Year after year, student-athletes at LaGrange College earn conference and national recognition in their chosen sports. In 2014, our men’s basketball team won its conference championship and advanced to the national tourney, and the championship Panther golf squad ended the season with a top-10 ﬁnish at the national tournament.

LaGrange grad Conrad Clevenger ’14 (above, right) is pursuing his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Clemson University, with a full teaching assistantship. Alyse Wilkerson ’14 (left) is working toward a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at Belmont University, and has a fellowship with the Nashville Opera Association. Hunter Connell ’14 (center) is studying for a Ph.D. in Toxicology at the University of Georgia, with full-tuition and stipend assistantship.
