O p e n A r t C o d e Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti San Marco 2847 Venezia 5 - 20 February 2016 open every day (except Sundays) 11am - 7pm OpenArtCode is composed of a group of renowned artists who have very different technical styles and their artistic formation is varied. They have united their talents in the past to exhibit together in Paris at the Grand Palais, in Monaco at the Auditorium Rainier III, at the Oxo Gallery on the River Thames in London and in Shanghai at Pudong Library and CEIBS. The most recent OAC show was OpenArtCode Paris that took place from 24-29 November 2015 at the Grand Palais, in the Salon des Artistes Indépendants. Each year ART en CAPITAL, which also comprises the Salon des Indépendants, attracts more than thirty thousand visitors to the Grand Palais. OpenArtCode Venice is honoured to exhibit on the ‘piano nobile’ or main floor of Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti. This historic building, located directly on the Grand Canal, is situated in the most visited area of Venice, near the Galleria dell’Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. This is the heart of the cultural centre, where the famous Teatro La Fenice, Palazzo Grassi, Punta della Dogana, Palazzo Fortuny and Ca’ Rezzonico are also located. A final note to thank the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti for their hospitality and to all the sponsors for their support in making this a very successful exhibition. Vito Abba
