Dear Friends, As we enter 2016, The Voice in the Wilderness commences a yearlong emphasis on: • One life • One Voice • One influence for eternity. If Dr. J. Royce Thomason were still with us, he would be 100 years old in 2016. Just as the Lord used Bro. Royce’s life, voice, and influence through The Voice in the Wilderness ministry, our Saviour can use us in a life of eternal worth. Please pray with us as we challenge our reader to BE and DO more this year for God’s Glory and Praise. In honour of The Voice in the Wilderness’ founder, Dr. J. Royce Thomason, we plan to reprint The Book of Revelation (verse-by-verse study). At present it looks like it will cost about $5.50 per book to reprint. The last printing quantity was 10,000. It will obviously take significant contributions to underwrite this project. Please pray the Lord will provide. Your continued prayers for the work in Venezuela and the Philippines is deeply appreciated. Also, we are looking at an opportunity in India. This all depends on available funds. It is time to print and mail the next edition of “The Voice in the Wilderness.” It cost about $6,000 for each edition of this printed missionary. Pray for these needs and others listed on following pages. For Christ and souls, Ronnie L. Williamson Isa. 40:31 Happy Trails…

A real friend is one who knows all about you and yet still loves you. True friends are like the stars in the heavens. You may not always see them but you know they are there. You are one in the whole world but you are the whole world to one. Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but it will not get you anywhere. Enjoy the little things in life for one day you may just realize they were the big things. New Year’s Goals: Live simple, expect little, give much. Fill your life with love. Scatter sunshine. Forget self. Think of others and do as you would be done by. “One of the most important documents a man ever signs is his Will. I can tell better what a man had in his heart by reading his Will than I can by reading his obituary. His obituary tells the world what his friends thought of him; his Will reveals what he had in his heart.” - A. M. Vollmer For as (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he- Proverbs 23:7. Out of (the heart) are the issues of life - Proverbs 4:23. A bequest in your Will to The Voice in the Wilderness, Inc. can assure that the outreach of this ministry at home and abroad will continue after you have gone to your eternal reward. Prayerfully consider us in your Estate Planning. Thank you! For more resources, visit •5 IS GOD’S WORK IN YOUR WILL?

Guns and Obama - Oklahoma congressman Jim Bridenstine said Politico records that President Obama will announce a new executive action further limiting American freedom to sell guns to friends and family members. Bridenstine said, “neither of these executive gun controls would have prevented even one of the high profile shootings from the last decade.” But both will succeed in placing a further burden on the exercise of the Second Amendment. NEWS BITS FROM HERE AND THERE Massive Spending Bill - Rep. Jim Bridenstine voted against the $1.1 trillion Omnibus spending bill. The Omnibus was negotiated behind closed doors by a small number of Members of Congress and the White House. Members were given less than 60 hours to digest over 2,000 pages and had to take an up or down vote with no amendments permitted. Listed below are his reasons for “no” vote. 6•The Voice in the Wilderness - December 2015 Virtual Edition

Friends along the trail.... Long time friends of Brother Royce, Rick and Gail Moore, have a Commemorative Bible ribbon from the 50th Anniversary of Brother Royce’s ministry. Now in 2016 we observe the blessings of our LORD upon the life and influence of Dr. J Royce Thomason, founder of The Voice in the Wilderness. My wife and I enjoyed memories with Brother and Sister Moore as we reminisced. There remain those who give testimony of influence in their lives by the ministry of Brother Royce. 100 years later may that be an encouragement to us all to serve God faithfully. It was a privilege to preach at Black Rock Bible Church and renew fellowship with some of Bro. Royce’s long time friends. We have enjoyed knowing Bro. Kline and his fmaily for almost 20 years. God bless you and Pastor Nesbitt. (Top & left) The Moore’s and their keepsake 50th Anniversary ribbon from The Voice in the Wilderness. (Right) Bro. Kline with Bro.
