p ag e 3 bath salts a new drug known as bath salts has become very popular and increasingly terrifying bath salts are not regular bath salts that you put into your tub why are they called that because that way it s harder for the government to specifically name them illegal nobody knows exactly what is in these bath salts because there is no way to test for these substances you can find them in minimarts and smoke shops sold by various brand names by doing this it makes it harder for the state or town to say they are illegal drugs experiences you will face if you take bath salts are agitation paranoia hallucinations chest pain and suicidal thoughts they don t know if bath salts are addictive but they do know it causes cravings states are working very hard to shut down the sales of these so called bath salts all they know is that they need to get rid of them and fast vending machines in school for many years shenandoah valley has had vending machines in school but recently they have taken them out to provide better health for students personally i think this is both a good and a bad idea i agree that there are many students with health issues in this school that should be eating a lot healthier then they are and not candy bars from the snack machine this is why i think that it is a good idea to get rid of them but another thing is there are many students that are in after school activities and students become hungry especially when the students eat lunch very early in the day i think to resolve this problem instead of getting rid of the machines and causing a new problem they can simply put healthier food in the machines such as 100 calorie packs crackers fiber bars and other things that are healthier to eat this way everyone wins the students get a snack before their practice meeting or club and the faculty gets much healthier students drama club best orchestra the drama club will be participat best overall production ing in the sovereign majestic best lobby awards this year the sovereign along with many others last year the majestic awards are a ceremony shenandoah valley drama club was nomifor all of the local drama clubs to nated for 13 awards they won 2 awards enter for the chance to win including best supporting actor and best awards such as orchestra the drama club is excited for best actor/actress this year their second entrance into the best supporting actor/actress award ceremony because they are prac ticing very hard for them mr rooney the co-director is running practices every day to help the drama club succeed further if you are interested in attending the award ceremony contact mr rooney for information.
