Taking part in the May AOH Festival is a wonderful way for artists and makers to showcase and sell their work directly to the visiting public. Whether you are an artist producing paintings, prints, sculpture, jewellery, homewares, photography, ceramics, textiles, or other media, the Artists Open Houses are a great place to get your work seen. When to register? Registration for the May 2016 AOH Festival will open online on Tuesday 1st December 2015 and close on Monday 1st February 2016. Remember to register early to take advantage of our great Early Bird rates and you can keep costs low by sharing registration fees with your exhibiting artists. Register online at: www.aoh.org.uk Who can take part? Anyone can who lives within the 01273 telephone code area can open their own venue as part of the Artists Open Houses Festival. Artists Open Houses Christmas 2015 Spreading to the furthest reaches of Brighton and Hove and out to the South Downs village of Ditchling, a visit to the Artists Open Houses Christmas Festival is the perfect way to kick off the festive season. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Artists open up their homes and studios welcoming you inside and offering a wealth of wonderful things for you to view, experience and buy. Visiting the Christmas Artists Open Houses is a great way to discover the diversity of creative talent that exists in the city and this year brings work from some of the country’s top makers in the fields of ceramics, jewellery, print-making and homewares, as well as handcrafted Christmas cards, wreaths, tree decorations and foodie gifts. Taking a break from the High Street, you can shop in warmth and comfort, sip a glass of mulled wine and try a mince pie, beside a blazing hearth. Christmas Artists Open Houses create a special atmosphere, where you can chat to the artists and have a sneaky peak around some of Brighton’s most interesting homes, whilst viewing an amazing selection of individual, unique arts and crafts. An afternoon spent browsing Brighton and Hove’s Christmas Artists Open Houses is the perfect way to take the pain out of Christmas shopping and a chance 3 to pick up a present for friends and family, something unique for the home – or perhaps a treat for yourself!
