ΑΘΗΝΑ 23 και 24 ΙΟΥΝΙΟΥ 2015 The necessity of the European Educational Programs Δήμητρα Γουρδομιχάλη Σχολική Σύμβουλος κλ. ΠΕ15 manti @otenet.gr Abstract This article refers to the necessity of the implementation of the European Educational Programs in the Greek Educational System. The basic problematic and the purpose of this article is to show that the introduction of the European Programs responds not only to the pedagogical-educative and cultural needs of the modern Greek educational system but also to the socioeconomic and technological advancements. Particular emphasis has been given to the Lifelong learning Program that covers the sectors of educative and professional training and has as basic purpose the acquisition of basic knowledge and recognized skills. Special reference is given to the role of the teachers in relation to the successful or not implementation of the Programs, the degree of the implementation and the difficulties and the obstacles that hampers the creative use of the Programs. Keywords Education, European Programs, Program analysis, Lifelong Learning, Application, Teacher’s role, Implementation, Application problems ΤΟ ΝΕΡΟ ΣΤΗ ΖΩΗ ΜΑΣ Κορέτση Ελένη Σχ. Σύμβουλος ΠΕ15 Β΄ Αθήνας Abstract Water is the essential element for the conservation of life on Earth. It's an irreplaceable resource of economic development. Water is not equally distributed in time and space. Nowadays one third of the global population is confronted with problems related to lack of water and its degraded quality. 60% of the global population '' poor in water'' is located in the Mediterranean Sea, which is remarkable. The municipalities and water companies are obliged to inform the residents of an area. School communities can introduce educational programms of sensibilisation of the students to mild techniques of saving money. Keywords : education activities, saving water, water 6

The purpose of this scenario is to develop multiple skills of young students and to acquire the knowledge of metacognition (learning how to learn). The venture, though it was crowned with success and formed a good model of creating didactic scenarios based on the method of "blended learning" and cooperative learning from distance, had the difficulties that the education faces in general and the teaching in Greek class in particular, especially from distance. One of the aims of the Comenius Regio ARCA.DIA.logue program was to design creative educational actions that would lead to a learning journey to Tradition. In the case of our CD, our educational goal was to approach both the countryside and Tradition by means of sounds that define the regions of Arkadia, Greece, and Salento in Puglia, Southern Italy. Such sounds are those generated by a weaving loom, a powder mill’s pounding pilons, a monastic talanton being sounded, and by a cupa cupa, a traditional musical instrument of Salento. Within the framework of this bipartisan, cross-cultural cooperation and by means of the process followed in our CD we will be able to discover and fully understand the meaning of “unity” that “diversity” has in a mutual cultural framework. This CD was made possible within the framework of the European Program Comenius Regio ARCA.DIA.logue: α number of program participants recorded sounds of the countryside in the regions of Arkadia, Greece, and Salento, Italy. It was precisely those countryside sounds that became the anchor and the source of inspiration for a musical composition in six parts which employed electronic music. The CD’s cover was designed by the Institute of Professional Training (IEK) of Peristeri, Attica, Greece. Key-words. Arcadia, Salento,Sounds, Electronic Music 9

ΑΘΗΝΑ 23 και 24 ΙΟΥΝΙΟΥ 2015 ARCA.DIA.logue: Our path to awareness of our cultural, regional and historical heritage Δρ. Δήμητρα Μακρή, Σχολική Σύμβουλος Δ.Ε. κλ. ΠΕ15 Έδρα: ΔΙ.Δ.Ε. Α΄ Αθήνας, ανάθεση ΔΙ.Δ.Ε. Γ΄ Αθήνας και ΔΙ.Δ.Ε. περιφέρειας Κρήτης dimimacri@gmail.com Abstract. ARCA.DIA.logue aimed to help teachers and students to raise questions with a curious look over past times in order to increase a kind of awareness upon the historical, regional and cultural heritage, organizing creative and enjoyable activities with the cooperation of the local community. Through such awareness in such a bilateral and multicultural cooperation, participants felt the touch of the past on the present, and seen the continuity of life. And finally discovered and understood the importance of the 'unity' in 'diversity' on a common ground. Remembering the codes we have inherited from our Forefathers we felt the continuity of life on our lands, and so in the world. So the most peaceful and unifying motivation in coming closer is to find out our historical heritage thought geography, language, literature, traditions, arts, music, theater, architecture, and so on. In all these areas we moved and program products which will be presented in detail in this essay. Also, this experience aims to make everyone consider the importance of producing new values from this national and universal heritage. Key-words. The Greek system of education is far more urgent to be synchronized as per international standards, using Information Technology and Communication in teaching. The system of education now opens channels of communication with society, creating the mood for dialogue at international level. The Technology of Information and Communication (ICT) creates new teaching strategies, away from the stereotypes of memorization in which the learning process requires skills in research, processing and evaluating information, analysis and combinational creation (composition). The teacher must respond to these rapid developments utilizing a dynamic role and developing expertise to communicate effectively, to transfer theory to practice "reflectively" and generally to manage the new and complex circumstances in the classroom.
