Dear Friends, Brothers and sisters that are comfortable with the change of Bibles from the proven KJB to ESV, NIV or another modern bible version will not appreciate The Voice in the Wilderness. People that like the rock and roll, reved up southern style Gaither music and blended purpose driven charismatic worship might be shocked by this publication. Those voting for Obamacare and straight ticket liberal politics best steer clear. This is straightforward, hard hitting, preaching The Old Paths like it or not “thus saith The LORD! The Bible says in 1 Chronicles 12 verse 32: “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do...” certainly speaks of our need in America today. These are perilous times. My wife and I attended the Heritage Action Presidential Forum having the opportunity to hear the following ten speakers. Each candidate had 25 minutes in front of 10,000 people to answer about five or so substantive questions relating to our nation and their run for the presidency. I list this for your understanding in order to pray for our country. Jeb Bush expressed, as a former governor, the need to return power to individual states, not Washington DC. Scott Walker, though now withdrawn from the race, said defund planned parenthood and repeal Obamacare in its entirety. He was a union buster in his state. Ben Carson said congress needs to call Obama’s bluff. We have a Constitution, judges are not supreme and we can seal our borders. 4•The Voice in the Wilderness - September 2015 Virtual Edition

Ted Cruz said we must break the Washington cartel, repeal Obamacare, adopt a single flat tax, enable the purchase of health insurance across state lines, don’t fund Castro and condemn Obama’s anti-Israel policies. Rick Santorum said Obama has brought into the US an imbalance of Muslim refugees and immigrants. Many illegals are those that have overstayed Visas, and we know who they are. Iran practices apocalyptic Islam and we must not compromise with Iran. Take out their nuclear facilities unless Iran allows US to inspect. Marco Rubio stated we must restore leadership by having the most powerful military in the world. We need a policy of moral clarity, support Israel, and a VA that respects veterans more than beauracrats. Rand Paul said lower taxes, less regulations, and balance the budget. Carly Fiorina said cut the 73,000 page tax code down to three pages. Go to a zero based budget. Hillary and China are our adversary. Bobby Jindal said there is an unholy alliance between big business and goverment. We must repeal those illegal executive orders. Chris Christie said 71 percent of U.S. spending is on entitlements and debt expense. To you our Voice prayer partners, we the people must understand the times. “One of the most important documents a man ever signs is his Will. I can tell better what a man had in his heart by reading his Will than I can by reading his obituary. His obituary tells the world what his friends thought of him; his Will reveals what he had in his heart.” - A. M. Vollmer For as (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he- Proverbs 23:7. Out of (the heart) are the issues of life - Proverbs 4:23.
