FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION MANUAL VISION STATEMENT VISION STATEMENT Our Global Mission Project will assist in conquering spiritual darkness with the glorious light of Jesus Christ around the world as part of the greater fulfillment of Matthew 24:14. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." With vigilance, Family Community Church Association is firmly committed in establishing and sustaining global mission projects on all seven continents which support this purpose... Acts 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” the church of Jesus Christ has been commissioned to this project and will pursue it vigorously, with the aid of the Holy Spirit. "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen” Matthew 28:18-20 We are committed regardless of cost or sacrifice, 11/2012 VISION STATEMENT 1. 1

FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION MANUAL VISION STATEMENT Global Mission – Strategies Our Short-term Mission Strategy Family Community Church Association will continue to seek the Lord’s leading in identifying existing churches, mission ministries on all seven continents. We will personally visit each of these ministries and collaborate with them to establish a relationship that will not only further the preaching of the Gospel throughout the world, but also establish shortterm missionary opportunities for our affiliated churches We will actively pursue other churches to work in partnership with us in our effort of reaching the world for Christ. Our Long-term Mission Strategy As we continue with our Short-term Strategy goals, while at the same time growing spiritually and financially as an association. It is our sincere desire to mature to the point that we will have planted churches on all the continents of the globe and have full-time missionary on all seven continents preaching and or teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 "Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. CHURCH AFFILIATION AGREEMENT with FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION This affiliation agreement between individual churches and Family Community Church Association (FCCA) is a relational covenant. It is a bonding of hearts and an alignment of purpose and passion. The covenant is marked by a confirming witness from the Holy Spirit among pastor, church board, church membership, and regional and international leadership. It is entered into with the solemn recognition God birthed the relationship. For that reason, the relationship should be neither lightly undertaken nor lightly severed by the church or the Association. It is an affiliation dedicated to more effectively impacting the harvest than can be accomplished alone. This affiliation is biblically illustrated in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NLT), “Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble. ...A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” We, the partners in covenant, confirm we have read and agree to abide by the provisions, procedures, and regulations in the Family Community Church Association Manual. We affirm our individual contributions to this relationship with these commitments: THE CHURCH AGREES TO: • Make disciples in obedience to the Great Commission; • Pray for Family Community Church Association and its ministries; • Adopt and abide by bylaws and regulations consistent with the provisions, procedures, and regulations of the Family Community Association Manual; • Welcome representatives of Family Community Church Association to minister, share about ministries, provide mission opportunities, and build relationship with members of the church; • Require its pastors to enter into the pastoral covenant with Family Community Church Association prior to assuming leadership at the church; • Participate in and support regional and international ministries and events; • Support Family Community Church Association financially per the FCCA Manual. PASTORAL COVENANT OF RELATIONSHIP with FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION The Pastoral Covenant of Relationship between pastors or associate ministers and Family Community Association is a partnership marked by a bonding of hearts and an alignment of purpose and passion – a God-initiated relationship. A covenant relationship means the pastor or associate minister and Family Community Church Association are committed to advancing God’s Kingdom together in mutual and loving commitment – a partnership dedicated to more effectively impacting the harvest than can be accomplished alone. The Pastoral Covenant of Relationship flows from and confirms a witness from the Holy Spirit among pastor, or associate minister, church board, church membership, and regional and national leadership – a partnership entered into with the solemn recognition God initiated the relationship. For that reason, the relationship should be neither lightly undertaken nor lightly severed by the pastor, or associate minister, church, or Family Community Churches. Application for approval, and acceptance of a Family Community ministerial credential are mutual statements of commitment to covenant relationship. A model for covenant relationship is described in Philippians 2:1-6 (NLT). Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and sympathetic? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one heart and purpose. Don't be selfish; don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don't think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing. Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God. In the spirit of partnership for the harvest, this Pastoral Covenant of Relationship is entered into by FCCA and ________________________________ on the ______ day of , 20______: We, the partners in covenant, affirm our individual contributions to this relationship with these commitments: AS SENIOR PASTOR OR ASSOCIATE MINISTER AT A: □FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION CHURCH □NON-FAMILY COMMUNITY CHURCH ASSOCIATION CHURCH I WILL: • Abide by and support the Church Affiliation Agreement between the church and the Family Community Church Association; • Abide by the Family Community Association Manual; • Teach doctrine consistent with the Family Community Church Association Statement of Faith; • Participate spiritually, physically, and financially with all ministries of Family Community Churches as defined in the Family Community Association Manual; • Pray for fulfillment of the mission of Family Community Church Association and for its leadership; • Welcome representatives of Family Community Church Association to minister, share about ministries, and build relationship with members of the church; 11/2012 FCCA Affiliation Agreement 3. 4
