CCCC Staff Complete Community Leadership Class! This last July, CCCC’s Annette Brown and Rheanna Hilton graduated the 2015 Kern County Network for Children’s Leadership Development Program, a course designed to provide service providers the education and training to enhance their leadership and community engagement skills. In addition to 56 hours of instruction time in nine subject areas such as public speaking, media relations, and community mobilization, the class teams completed a community project. Annette and her group organized a community family dinner for families demonstrating the importance and impact of family meal times. Rheanna and her group hosted an art camp for foster youth who worked with local artists to create their own artwork that is displayed at the Foster Youth Dream Center. Congratulations!
