A New Era of Opportunity With strong consumer demand, tight supplies and record prices, the beef industry is entering a new era of growth and unprecedented opportunity. Position your herd to make the most of these exciting times with AI and ABS genetics. The advantages of synchronization and AI in today’s market are unmatched for herd management and profit. In addition to the added genetic value, research shows returns that range from $80 to $120 for every cow exposed to estrous synchronization and fixed-time AI when compared to females exposed to natural service alone.* ABS’ long-term emphasis on commercially proven, pasture to plate performance and profitability will ensure that your herd is positioned for success. These are unprecedented times in the cattle business, set your herd up for the immediate opportunity and added lifetime productivity with profit-proven genetics. For long-term AI users, today’s genetics are more proven, relevant and cost competitive than ever before. If you’ve never used AI, there has never been a better time to start. “We’ve tried other programs in the past, but when you find what works you stick to it.With AI, I basically bred out all the difficulties. I wanted uniformity, but I’ve improved udder quality and structure in the herd. I also have a tighter calving season, and with AI to calving ease sires, I can calve without having to watch; and less labor is always great.” Mark Fulton, Fulton Ranch, SD ABS and AI can improve your profit and efficiency in 2015: 1. PROVEN CALVING EASE 2. LONG TERM MATERNAL RETURN ON INVESTMENT 3. ADDED PERFORMANCE 4. IMPROVED EFFICIENCY 5. LESS COST THAN NATURAL SERVICE 6. FULL SERVICE CONVENIENCE * Rodgers, J. C., S. L. Proven Sire Alliance bulls deliver profit and predictability from Pasture to Plate™ Long lasting, productive and profitable daughters High performing steers backed by documented efficiency genetics Carcasses that deliver quality and cutability to earn grid premiums In the Pasture Beyond performance, carcass value and efficiency, daughters of Sire Alliance bulls are monitored for maternal function and profitability. The Sire Alliance Maternal Index incorporates daughter productivity and fertility data including Heifer Pregnancy and Stayability. In the Feedlot The Sire Alliance is the longest running program of it’s kind with progeny individually measured for feed intake since 1998. While high feed cost in recent years has made feed efficiency a key trait of interest, no one can match the Sire Alliance’s foresight and decade and a half of intake measurements. On the Rail Today, the Sire Alliance and Circle A Ranch are the largest contributors to the American Angus Association carcass data base. The typical Sire Alliance graduate has 30 steer progeny evaluated for carcass merit which by itself generates higher reliability and accuracy levels than 90% of the bulls that qualify for the Main Sire Summary listing. E The Angus Sire Alliance Program was initiated by Circle A Angus Ranch in 1996 to objectively measure commercial performance and real world value from birth-to-harvest. The program pioneered the use of selection indexes in the beef industry and remains the most comprehensive source of feedlot profit, efficiency and maternal performance. ABS has been a marketing partner with Circle A since the first bulls graduated in 1998 and the Sire Alliance program has been an exclusive ABS progeny testing program since 2008. The data derived on ABS sires not only provides you, our customers, added accuracy and reliability, but also unique and valuable insight into feed efficiency and commercial profitability that is not available anywhere else today. Beyond the proven Sire Alliance graduates offered in this directory, we are also utilizing Sire Alliance data to develop and select the next generation of ABS sires.
