since last year a majority of marrickville councillors decided this particular application deserved another chance developers planning to use the site at 568 illawarra road marrickville were told by council on tuesday to go back to the drawing board after 15 reasons for refusal were found the most significant concern surrounding the application was the acid sulphate assets found in the soil industrial area going unused when it could be used to provide affordable housing to the people of marrickville mr sinclair said the expertise of those employed precluded that the acid sulphates in the soil wouldn t be harmful given the appropriate process during construction greens councillor max phillips rejected the amended application and questioned the persistence of labor councillor s persistence with the application if i was a member of the public i would be wondering why councillors are in support of this fatally flawed application cr phillips said i have to say special treatment comes to mind the initial plans weren t up to scratch and they still aren t labor councillor laura wright voted for the new plans yet acknowledged it was unusual to go out of our way to give so many chances to an applicant other issues with the latest application included the floor space ratio poor waste management systems and a poor drainage system considering the proposed development s proximity to the cooks river the developer will now commission a thorough contamination report specific to the acid sulphate found on the site sydenham s heritage to be studied marrickville council 10 lifestyle friday april 8 2011 the inner city weekender horoscopes www.francisbevan.com there is a full moon in libra on the 18th and although your mood is likely to be carefree the same can t be said for your partner or your family no amount of encouragement from you will break this mood so avoid contact for a while and allow them to resume an even keel on their own you really seem to be on a roll and as long as you keep up the momentum there is no reason why you shouldn t be able to reach your objectives mercury retrograde in aries squares saturn pluto a time of confusion chaos francis a bevan at unveiled we will take you from the initial design through the creation to the ultimate unveiling of your masterpiece with the full moon directly in your sign on the 18th it s a rather exciting month for personal relationships however partnerships that are already troubled could go totally off the scale early on so go easy and think before you speak you could be put on the spot about an emotional issue be honest so you don t lose credibility keeping your temper is going to be necessary so try not to stress out and if you want to avoid a nasty case of road rage play some calming music 033icd651 20 maclaurin avenue east hills you re feeling anxious and irritated as getting others to be straight-forward is rather difficult also you could be a bit under the weather as something unpleasant such as a head cold or a visit to the dentist could spoil your day between the 18th-25th everything to do with work will be awkward and demanding and it will be hard to get new projects off the ground neighbours and colleagues could get on your nerves so take some quiet time out although you have the promise of high achievement coming up it s important that you don t overload your schedule or take on far more than you can comfortably cope with it s very tempting to push hard but watch out for the law of diminishing returns the more you take on the more tired you ll be with the full moon in your 12th house on the 18th you need to be easy on yourself as you don t need to store up stressful problems for the future 9772 2226 www.unveiledcouture.com.au · bridal wear · christening wear · easter candles money matters are your main source of concern in the long run most of your anxieties will be groundless but at the moment they are very pressing indeed try to calm down and sort out a sensible budget unavoidable emotional issues are likely to come to the surface during the full moon problems that have been simmering beneath the surface with your partner or children are about to emerge your feelings take a very intense turn making you quite reflective and drawn to thinking about the people that really matter to you watch out for signs of jealousy or possessiveness that threaten to take hold and nip them in the bud or you ll start to brood which could stir up the kind of trouble that is best avoided self-control is the name of the game so do your best to play it well between the 18th-25th hiccups are likely in your social life not everything will go according to plan but the more you refuse to accept this the worse it will be of course you will feel frustrated when you can t control everything but it would be better to try and stay calm you may have a pile of official papers to deal with or forms to fill in so take your time as mistakes are likely be certain to read each section carefully before signing them avoid laying down the law as things will resolve more amicably if you agree to differ and find a compromise confusion on the home front is likely and you will have to do your best not to lose your cool over any mix-ups some really important family matters will need sorting out before you can progress forward if you are renovating or buying property complications are likely but be certain to double check everything before pushing forward the full moon on the 18th falls directly in your career sector so avoid saddling yourself with responsibilities or commitments that you can t meet you re in the mood to over indulge and if currently on a diet or trying to give up a negative habit temptation could almost be impossible to resist what you need to do is something that makes you feel good about yourself and doesn t give you a guilty conscience if you have travel plans unfortunately matters are likely to become complicated so be certain to double check all arrangements as of the 21st you will be able to start making progress with your career watch out for someone who is trying to undermine your confidence or expose your achilles heel don t rise to the bait if they try to provoke you a far sweeter revenge would be to maintain your dignity and not allow them to ruffle your feathers besides it would take an army to deter you from your path the full moon falls in your 9th house on the 18th and therefore any travel plans are likely to turn upside down you are also likely to be feeling somewhat frustrated and keen to escape your environment problems are likely on the financial front so double check all bank statements as you may discover hidden charges that your bank didn t warn you about if you are handling official papers muddles and delays are likely and some of the information you need could be missing trying to sort out difficulties in your personal life between the 18th-25th is not going to be easy despite the problems you may find that your partner walks away from you and doesn t want to know neptune moves into pisces and you ll be spookily aware of your intuition however be careful of your finances as over confidence will tempt you to push the boat out too far the full moon on the 18th falls in your 8th house and your uncompromising mood leaves no room for doubts but watch a tendency to come on too strong if you really want to get your own way your masterful tactics of subtle manipulation will work much better as long as you act with integrity
