minesunitysquare much you can learn i would like to share a story with you about 15 years ago when i started mines wonderland there was already a bridge at the location we incorporated the bridge into the blueprint for our theme park and called it unity bridge we also incorporated a fountain at the entrance of mines wonderland and called it unity fountain to continue our tradition of upholding unity we named the latest outdoor venue formerly known as mines square mines unity square as a show of support to the agenda of all non-profit organization i am proud to make mines unity square available to the ngos to be used as venues for the events to support their noble causes from here onwards mines unity square is our pledge of support to the ngos and their causes not only will we provide the venue we will also grant the organization a subsidy of rm5,000 to host their events there the rukun negara i realize a lot of the problems faced by our country can be avoided if the people embrace the rukun negara i got into a habit of asking my staffs if they know the rukun negara most of the time they were reminded of school days and for many of us that was quite a long time ago in my opinion the rukun negara if instilled in everyone s hearts is capable of ensuring growth and progress of individuals organization and country unityfountain for those who have forgotten the rukun negara it goes like this maka kami rakyat malaysia berikrar akan menumpukan seluruh tenaga dan usaha kami untuk mencapai cita-cita tersebut berdasarkan atas prinsipprinsip berikut kepercayaan kepada tuhan kesetiaan kepada raja negara keluhuran perlembagaan kedaulatan undang-undang kesopanan kesusilaan the objectives are to achieve greater unity to maintain a democratic way of life to create a just society in which the wealth of the nation shall be equitably shared to ensure a liberal approach to her rich and diverse cultural traditions to build a progressive society which shall be oriented by modern science and technology i hope that we can make it a habit to truly embrace our rukun negara in later issues i will delve into the other objectives especially on the importance of ensuring cultural preservation and upholding of traditions of the multi-racial multi cultural malaysia ch lifestyle 5
