C heerleading National Champs... Carryn Davidson | Cape Town – October 2014 After an arduous 19 hour drive down to Cape Town, the squad started training straight away. We had to contend with the delightful Cape Town weather, with 4 seasons in a day. After an intense week of training and little time to enjoy Cape Town, we travelled to Vygieskraal stadium where the champs were hosted on Friday. The teams looked absolutely amazing in their new colours. All 5 Bryanston teams that competed made it through to the finals which took place on Saturday. The teams performed amazing routines, leaving the competitors concerned about what Bryanston was going to perform next. We are extremely proud of the teams and their placings from nationals. The final results were as follows: Co-ed team 4th place All girls team 3rd place Group stunts 2nd and 4th places Partner stunts 6th place With these placings the squad overall achieved a 3rd place in the Champion of Champions section meaning we are 3rd overall in the country. I would like to thank the staff that attended the tour: Mrs K, Mr Hallendorf and Mr Botha, and to the athletes thank you so much for a long hard week of work and an amazing tour.
